The Bridgeview Chamber of Commerce is organized to achieve the objectives of:
1. Preserving the competitive enterprise system of business by: creating a better understanding and appreciation of the importance of business people and a concern for their problems; informing the business community on municipal, county, state and national legislative and political affairs, addressing issues which are detrimental to expansion and growth of business and the community if they arise.
2. Promoting business and community growth and development by: promoting economic programs designed to strengthen and expand the income potential of all business within the trade area; promoting programs of a civic, social and cultural nature which are designed to increase the functional and aesthetic values of the community; identifying
abuses which prevent the promotion of business expansion and community growth; to create broad understanding and appreciation of the great opportunities in the Bridgeview area, and to promote the advantages and assets of our community, within the area, in the state and in the nation.
The Undersigned understands and agrees with the organizational objectives of the Bridgeview Chamber of Commerce & Industry and hereby makes application for firm Membership with general voting privileges. Furthermore, the Undersigned agrees to pay dues in the amount indicated in the form annually at the time of our anniversary membership date.
Membership dues in the Chamber of Commerce may be tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary expense. Dues paid to the
Chamber are not a charitable tax deduction for federal income tax purposes. The Chamber is not a charity but serves as an advocate
organization for area businesses.
